The SPAR Great Ireland Run 2015 - which will take place on Saturday April 11 in the Phoenix Park, Dublin - is calling on runners of all levels from Westmeath to represent their county in the All Ireland County Challenge competition for the Ronnie Delany Trophy.

NUI Galway has appointed Professor Patrick Lonergan as its first ever Professor of Drama and Theatre Studies. Professor Lonergan’s appointment strengthens NUI Galway’s reputation as a national hub for the study of theatre.
