Long days and sunshine holidays make for busy week

The revolutionary new eco-friendly lighting system which will soon halve Toulouse’s energy consumption and should be used in Galway and cities across Ireland, says Toulouse deputy mayor Alexandre Marciel, who spent 10 days in Galway city and Clifden recently.

Charles Harper exhibition to launch this weekend

New Work by artist Charles Harper is the latest exhibition to be opened next weekend at The Russell Gallery, a dedicated fine art space in New Quay, Co Clare. The launch will take place on Saturday June 19 from 4pm to 6pm. There will be a wine reception and Harper will present his latest effort, an exquisite collection of 24 small watercolour pieces.
