Bat enthusiasts will be pleased to know that on Saturday August 16, there will be an illustrated talk on bats held in Coole Park and Wildlife reserve, Co Galway. The talk commences at 8.30pm and will be followed shortly afterwards by a bat detecting walk throughout the grounds of Coole.

Fahey welcomes withdrawal of Gort Railway objection
