O’Donnellan & Joyce auctioneers is back with its final auction in the Wild Atlantic Way auction series for 2017. With strong sales results from the November auction and following a successful year in the auction room, O’Donnellan & Joyce has launched its Wild Atlantic Way Christmas property auction, the final auction of the year set for Thursday, December 14, in the Harbour Hotel, New Dock Road, Galway.
A landowner has been convicted of a breach to the Water Pollution Act in Glenamaddy, Co Galway which resulted in a fish kill. At a sitting of Tuam District Court, Michael Conneally of Boyounagh, Glenamaddy pleaded guilty to permitting silage effluent to enter the Yellow River, a tributary of the Clare River, on June 15 2016.

A Latvian man has been found guilty of murder after he strangled a fellow Latvian who had filed a complaint against him to the gardai. It was the prosecution’s case that 31-year-old Andresj Krauze murdered Juris Buls (30) after he refused to withdraw his complaint.

O’Donnellan & Joyce auctioneers, as the old saying goes, is keeping the good wine till last with more than 60 properties going under the hammer in its Wild Atlantic Way summer all day auction. Colm O’Donnellan of O’Donnellan & Joyce said this auction, which will be held on July 22 in the Harbour Hotel, Galway, is the fourth Wild Atlantic Way property auction of 2016.
O’Donnellan and Joyce’s next auction, which will take place this Friday November 13 at 2pm in the Harbour Hotel, Galway, is set to attract the highest numbers of online viewers to date.
