An exciting night is approaching in Maigh Cuilinn this Saturday as Scoil Bhaile Nua prepares for its fundraising auction in Wildlands at 8pm. Holding its first major public fundraiser since 2018, this small vibrant Gaeltacht school is aiming to raise much-needed funds to upgrade facilities.

GAA president Larry McCarthy visited the planned Renville Sports & Community Grounds of excellence on Monday and immediately made one local man happy, when he pulled the winning name in the Oranmore-Maree GAA One Club’s fundraising draw.

The fundraising event to launch My Story, the inspirational diary by the late Pat O’Brien, was a great success and very well attended.
