The Volvo Ocean Race is the perfect opportunity to exhibit the best of Irish culture to the world and Galway has a long and proud tradition in keeping the Irish language alive. The previous two events were an enormous success with exhibitors from all over the west of Ireland displaying their classic and vintage cars, tractors, motor cycles, etc, and each event was attended by more than 4,000 people on the day.
