Record number of dolphn strandings off west coast

Sinn Féin MEP Liadh Ní Riada is seeking a meeting with the European Commission after it was revealed that in the first two months of this year there were 28 strandings of common dolphins off the west coast of Ireland. This is the second-highest number ever recorded.

The Chairman and Board of Ireland West Airport Knock has welcomed the decision by the European Commission in approving Ireland’s 2015-2019 Regional Airports Programme. The Programme, officially announced last week, will allow for the State to provide financial supports (State aid) to the four regional airports, including Ireland West Airport Knock, over the period 2015-2019.

Green light for IWAK State funding
