Mayo General A&E under serious pressure

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 21 people being treated on trolleys at Mayo General Hospital today out of 435 nationwide. The HSE say the hospital’s emergency department is under pressure and has advised patients to attend their GPs our GP out of hours service if it is not an absolute emergency.
