John Patrick Shanley’s multi-award winning drama Doubt - now a major motion picture starring Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman - is Athlone Little Theatre’s richly anticipated first production of the 2011/12 season.
There is no stopping St Patrick’s Drama Group, Westport. The group will stage their next production Doubt from October 5 to 8, just four weeks after completing a hugely successful run with the hilarious comedy Widows Paradise, culminating in a two night run in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar.
The programme for the 2011 RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival was announced recently. Plays offered by the nine finalists will take place from Friday April 29 to Saturday May 7.
