I RECENTLY downloaded the All4 app, and, unlike the iplayer, it works here in Ireland for free with no subscription. It has some great shows and a number of really good films. First up, the movies I think are worth a watch. Next week I will select my picks for the best TV shows.

Sky has announced its second cohort of Women in Technology Scholars, awarding five talented women a total of £125,000 (€140,000) to accelerate a business idea which harnesses technology innovation. Amongst the winners is Mayo woman Mary Murphy (20), the youngest Sky Women in Tech Scholar.

Irish paid TV customers have an average of 155 channels, but 65 per cent watch less than a quarter of what they pay for.
