With around €3,000 raised, Muireann’s Hallowe’en Tea Party and Bake Sale was a very successful event. Organisers Marese Ward Shine and Deirdre Kelly set out to raise the money to help the Marathons4Muireann campaign, which saw Muireann’s father Declan run four marathons for three charities over two days in the hope of raising €100,000 for Temple Street Children’s Hospital, the Jack and Jill Foundation, and Brothers of Charity. To date in excess of €75,000 has been raised.
