It is refreshing to see some positive news on successful trading in Ireland when there is so much doom and gloom around! One company that looks to be bucking the trend is Cost Plus Sofas, which now have 18 megastores Ireland-wide from Dublin to Cork and from Sligo to Waterford, with one in Kilkenny just opened. A further new store (number 19) is opening in Castlebar in March 2011 and another couple of stores are scheduled to open later in the year. Every new store provides new job opportunities to the local community.

Local man John (Johnny) Greham was recently appointed manager of the new Cost Plus Sofas store at the Arcadia Retail Park in Athlone.
