Three NUI Galway academics feature on Highly Cited Researchers 2021 list

Three academic researchers at NUI Galway have been named on the annual Highly Cited Researchers 2021 list from Clarivate. Professor Henry Curran, Professor Donal O’Regan, and Professor Patrick W Serruys, have once again joined the prestigious list of 6,600 researchers from across the globe who demonstrated significant influence in their chosen fields through the publication of multiple highly cited papers during the last decade.

NUI Galway academic receives Mayo Clinic Distinguished Alumni Award

Professor Timothy O'Brien, Dean of the College of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences at NUI Galway and consultant endocrinologist at Galway University Hospitals, has received the Mayo Clinic Distinguished Alumni Award. The award was established by the Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees in 1981 to acknowledge and show appreciation for exceptional contributions of Mayo Clinic alumni to the field of medicine.
