Get active this April on the Clogher Bog Loop

An evening walk will take place on Clogher Bog Loop each Tuesday for the month of April. The walkers will meet at Clogher Heritage Centre at 7pm on Tuesday evenings. The walk suits all age groups and all levels of fitness and lasts around two hours.

Good Friday Holy Well walk

A walk to Tobarmacduagh Holy Well and a short prayer service will commence at 11am on Good Friday, April 3 at Clogher Community Centre, Clogher. Tobermacduagh Holy Well is situated in Killeen townland in the parish of Drum. The name is ascribed to Colman-Mac-Duagh, who lived at the beginning of the seventh century.

Get Active Clogher

Following on from the success of Operation Transformation Mayo last year, Clogher Environmental Group is continuing with the walking programme entitled Get Active Clogher, each Saturday commencing at Clogher Heritage Centre at 10.30am. This walking programme is organised in liaison with Mayo Sports Partnership and Operation Transformation and the campaign is also supported by Mayo County Council in conjunction with Mayo Rural Alliances.

WOW DAY at Clogher

Wednesdays are Walk On Wednesday Days at Clogher Heritage Complex, Claremorris. Every Wednesday in July and August from 2pm a guided walk through quiet country lanes, bog tracks and woodland will take place followed by a cup of tea at Clogher Heritage Cottage and visit to the Old Forge.
