Set in both London and Paris at the beginning of the French revolution, A Tale of Two Cities has a rich mix of comedy, tragedy, conflict, love and resolution, combined with a score that will raise the roof.

The Newman Institute are embarking on a very popular fundraising event on Saturday, November 16 in Hotel Ballina. Sixteen budding dancers have volunteered to compete for the prestigious prize of winning champion of the dance floor competition. The couples have been involved in an intensive dance training campaign for months under the stewardship of choreographer and dance instructor Marie Brennan. The main sponsor for the event is Paddy Connolly 4x4, Killala Road, Ballina. Each dancer has also secured a sponsor for raising funds. Proceeds from all the fundraising organised by the Newman's Institute's fundraising committee will go towards establishing a student bursary as well as contributing towards the running costs of the Institute.
