Sixty-seven-year-old Peter Rushe from Barnacogue, Swinford, died after his car was involved in a collision with another car on Barrack Street in Charlestown on St Patrick’s Day. The second car involved in the accident was abandoned at the scene and its two occupants fled on foot.
