A county council official has confirmed that motorists must heed the pedestrian crossing outside a national school in Castlebar following safety concerns raised by parents of children attending the school.

Christmas lights in Belmullet

This one day workshop, which will take place in the Family Centre, Chapel Street, Castlebar, introduces participants to the practice of therapeutic writing.

This day is suitable for anybody who spends a lot of time caring for somebody else. The venue is the Family Centre, Chapel Street, Castlebar, on Saturday November 5 from 10.30am to 4pm.

This one day course is aimed primarily at ordinary members of the community rather than people from the caring professions. The course will be held in the Family Centre, Chapel Street, Castlebar, on Monday October 24 from 7pm to 10 pm.
