Tourist office to receive funding

The Castlebar Tourist Office, which is operated by Castlebar Chamber of Commerce volunteers and various employment schemes in the town, will receive €5,000 funding this year from the Town Council. Cllr Ger Deere told the budget meeting of Castlebar Town Council, “This is an invaluable service that has worked very well over the last year and we should continue to support it.
