Especially since the character has a colossal reputation, and every incarnation of Superman that followed Christoper Reeve’s beloved 1978 version has been met with fan disappointment and mostly negative critical reaction. However if anyone could make Kal-El, the last son of Krypton, soar again, it was James Gunn.
Nope — a great night out
Jordan Peele has a new film out. 'Nope' is Peele's third movie after two very successful films ‘Get Out’ and ‘Us’. It's pretty remarkable that a sketch comedian (Peele was one half of comedy duo ‘Key and Peele’) has not only made the transition to film maker so smoothly, but in such a short time. There is such excitement around him his films are already anticipated like a Christopher Nolan or Tarantino movie.

Baz Luhram has a movie back on our screens this summer. It's hard to believe this but in the last 30 years this is only his sixth film as director. I have found his films quite hit and miss. I loved his debut feature, Strictly Ballroom, I think its still probably the best thing he’s done.

A SEQUEL to the remake of Murder On The Orient Express, a mild hit in 2017, Kenneth Branagh is back directing and starring as Hercule Poirot for what I can only assume is the nice pay day which allowed him to make a more personal project like Belfast.
