Maybe “fever” is too strong a word for it, but where are they? There are only a few weeks to go and I've only had three canvassers calling to the house: Sean Butler, John Coonan and the sister-in-law, Betty Manning. Betty may not even have been canvassing, she may have just called for a chat and a coffee. Does calling to the door or putting up life size posters make any difference? I'm not sure, but at least when you look out you can recognise the person and you know it's not someone casing the house for a future robbery (you hope).
