There was a double win for Westmeath’s County Buildings this week, with the new facilities picking up the Best Public Building and the Best Eco Friendly Building prizes at the national local authority awards.

Moy Road House has been shortlisted for a Zurich LAMA architectural award under the category of Best Eco Friendly Building. The LAMA awards were developed to recognise and acknowledge excellence in construction. Moy Road House is the only private residence to be shortlisted in the entire country for any of the 20 award categories.
