A little piece of history was created at Geraldine Park, Athy on Sunday last when Kilkenny claimed the Leinster under-14 C’ title in ladies football. The girls have been training for the past month under the guidance of PJ Whelan and Barry Hayes and made the perfect start to their campaign with a resounding win played under lights.
