The Air Accident Investigation Unit of the Department of Transport released a report this week on an incident which occurred at Ireland West Airport, Knock on May 28 this year.

€3.6 million investment at IWAK for landing systems and runway upgrade

Ireland West Airport Knock has this week announced the implementation of a CAT II ILS (instrument landing system) — which has been in operation in the airport since April — along with a major upgrade of Runway 27. These two major projects represented a €3.6 million investment to complete.
