Little Theatre’s Big Maggie to run again in December

Following the phenomenal success of Athlone Little Theatre’s production of Big Maggie, it has been decided to stage an extra two performances of the John B Keane classic in December. Already extented by one night in its first run, the quality of this production quickly led to it being booked out early in the week. Paddy Martin’s experience as a director ensured that the very able cast, spearheaded by the excellent Ann Hoey, really brought out the spirit and humour of the play.Supporting roles by both experienced actors and newcomers were played with an enthusiasm tempered with an appreciation of the human dilemmas inherent in the script.
