Take the ferry from Blacksod to Achill
Geraghty Charters connect Blacksod (An Fód Dubh) and The Great Western Greenway in only 30 minutes. Every Friday the Noirín Bán will depart the pier at Blacksod at 10.30am sharp and arrive in Doogort, Achill Island at 11am (subject to weather). This service offers people the opportunity to discover Achill Island on foot, by bicycle, or even by pony and trap, which is available for hire once you get there. Spend the day discovering all Achill has to offer. Noirín Bán will return to Blacksod leaving Doogort at 5.00pm sharp arriving at 5.30pm.
