Galwegians wanted for new RTE TV series Written Off?

After the success of the fly-on-the-wall documentary Written-off?, RTE and the National Adult Literacy Agency are now looking for Galwegians to take part in the next series.

The next series of Written-off? will be filmed in early 2009 and will follow the lives of 11 Irish adults as they come together to attend a unique course in Wicklow.

The programme is aimed at those who wish to return to learning and is also geared towards building their particular literacy skills. The participants will work with very experienced tutors who will identify each person’s particular learning style and will work with them on what they want to learn most.

The programme makers are looking for people who want to learn, be they parents who want to help children with their homework, workers who would like to go for promotion but don’t have the confidence to sit an exam, or those who would simply like to write a letter or send an email.

Galwegians who would like to take part should call the NALA on 1800 20 20 65 for more information.
