Friends of the Elderly wants to hear from musicians and entertainers in every part of Ireland who can give an hour a week to entertain the elderly in their local hospital.

Powerboat games in Achill

Achill Belmullet Powerboat Club will host and organise the first ever National Powerboat Games in Ireland in conjunction with the ISA on Friday July 24 and Saturday July 25. It will begin with the opening on the Friday night, games/activities and competitions over Saturday and Sunday respectively, and the final presentation of prizes on Sunday night. The event is open to both ISA and non-ISA members. Club members pay €125 and non members pay €150. Special package price, four boats or more €100. Entry fee includes weekend club day ticket.
