Knock Counselling Service, in conjunction with the Irish Association for Anger Management, is running a two-day intensive anger management programme on Saturday and Sunday, September 6 and 7.
The Temper Your Anger course will teach participants how to control their anger and stress levels, using cutting-edge techniques, combined with an experiential approach.

Cancer Care West golf classic
A golf classic in aid of Cancer Care West in Balla Golf Club will take place tomorrow, Saturday August 16. This will be the final fundraiser in memory of Brigid Cogger (RIP) from Straide, prior to the presentation of the money raised from other fundraising efforts. Annual Collection Day for Croí
Today, Friday June 20, the annual flag day collection for the heart and stroke charity Croí will take place in Ballina. This annual event will see friends of Croí from the Ballina area volunteer at various locations around the town including Tesco and Dunnes Stores. Each year the collection raises vital funds for the charity to continue its life-saving work. Croí Friends Ballina and District would like to thank everyone who supports each year and all the volunteers involved who give their time in support.

Easter party for aware
A family Easter party and craft fair will take place this Easter Sunday April 20 in the Breaffy Events Arena, Castlebar. There will be an Easter egg hunt, bouncy castles, children's activities, pet farm, there will also be a craft and food fair. Special Olympics table quiz
Special Olympics Kayak Club Castlebar, are hosting a table quiz in Bosh, Castlebar on Wednesday, March 5 to raise funds to bring the athletes to the national qualifiers for the 2015 LA World Games. Tables of four cost €40 and it will start at 9pm sharp.
