With fiddles, flutes, accordions, concertinas, guitars, dancing shoes, powerful voices and lots of devilment thrown in too, Ireland's top Trad acts flock to The Royal Theatre, Castlebar tomorrow May 14 to get the people of the west dancing while raising some much needed funds for Our Lady's Children's Hospital Crumlin. Hosted by All Ireland Talent Show finalists for the West, Sean Nós ar an tSionann, the night is set to be a big success with such a line up of acts.

This fantastically funny three act comedy has just thrilled audiences, sending them home laughing and leaving nothing but a natural feel-good factor in its wake. We all know laughter is the best medicine and this play has undoubtedly been an absolute tonic to all who have flocked to see it so far, not to mention the cast and crew involved in staging the production. If there were a special award for being multi-gifted then Brian Kennedy would surely walk away with it. A critically acclaimed singer/songwriter, and proven radio/television presenter, he is now also acknowledged as an author of considerable worth. The common denominator of all his talents is easy to spot. Brian has performed in The Royal Theatre before but it has been many years and people are certainly looking forward to his Bank Holiday show on Saturday June 4 at 9pm.

Widows Paradise is a three act comedy written by Sam Cree and it promises to be one of the funniest plays the group have staged in years. The play will take to the stage in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, on Friday May 13 2011 at 8pm sharp, with tickets costing from €12 to €15.
