For the first time in three years, Merlin College will host an in-person open night for all sixth class students and their parents/guardians on Monday October 3 between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. The school, which is celebrating its 10th year in Doughiska, on the east of the city, will again give an opportunity to parents and their children to see all that the school has to offer.

Two second year students from Coláiste Mhuirlinne/Merlin College, Doughiska, have made it through to the Sustainable Energy Ireland's One Good Idea Competition finals with their Food Doesn't Fly computer game.
