The event, a two-discipline event with a 10km run, 40km cycle, and then a 5km run, takes place in Rimini, Italy. “Myself and Louise got selected to represent Ireland by taking part in a series of selection races over the course of the year,” Keith told Carlow First. “I qualified by finishing second overall in the Limerick Duathlon series of three races (winning one race), and also won the Waterford Duathlon, which were qualifying events. Louise qualified by finishing fourth overall in the Limerick Duathlon series and winning the Carrick-on-Suir Duathlon,” he said.
