The Fulacht Fia Chairde Ghaillimh le Gaeilge took place in Builín Blasta in Ceardlann an Spidéil last week. It was the Fulacht Fia’s first time to move outside of Galway city and it was a great success. During the event, Cairde Gaillimh le Gaeilge enjoyed strolling among the beautiful craft shops in the Ceardlann. The wonderful Emer Killian and her fantastic team served delicious food, (all as Gaeilge) the guests were entertained with excellent music by Mike Stewart and Maria Fahy.

The Mayor of the City of Galway, Cllr Clodagh Higgins has launched two new initiatives by Ollscoil na Gaillimhe and Gaillimh le Gaeilge to increase the use of spoken Irish in Galway city.

The sun made a welcome return to Fulacht Fia Chairde Ghaillimh le Gaeilge as Cairde and Stiúrthóirí enjoyed a wonderful evening of music and food wn The Galmont, Bóthar Loch an tSáile, Gaillimh.
