Deputy Mulherin said: “I have been contacted by a number of pedestrians, many of them elderly, regarding road safety in the vicinity of the mini roundabout at Humbert Street and Market Square.”

Walking leader training course

Walking leader training is primarily aimed at people wishing to lead a voluntary walking group or to promote walking in the community or workplace. The course comprises a weekend of training (15 hours) and then a follow up four week walking programme to try out your new walking leader skills.  The course will commence at 7pm on Friday and finish on Sunday afternoon after lunch.
