Virtual cookery school for children launched

JP McMahon, owner and chef at Michelin-starred Aniar Restaurant, will host an eight-week cookery course for children aged eight to 15 years starting April 10. The course will teach children to make some crowd-pleasing and family-friendly foods such as lasagna, pancakes, bread, and even roast chicken. The classes will be held virtually via Zoom each Saturday morning.

City Hall not open for business until Monday

City council staff and incident response teams have been working around the clock to repair the damage caused by last Friday’s explosion, to minimise disruption to the public, and to continue with local authority business and services. It is now hoped that most of City Hall will be operational by next Monday.
