Minister of State for Tourism and Sport Michael Ring this week warmly welcomed the announcement by the National Roads Authority that further road works will take place on the N59 Rossow Bends at Kilmeena, Westport. The N59 Rossow Bends scheme, between Newport and Westport, is 1.8km in length and continues from the N59 Kilbride Scheme which was completed 2012.
