O’Hanlon is a founding father of modern Irish stand-up since he helped form Dublin’s Comedy Cellar in 1990. Ardal has a slew of comedy awards (and a BAFTA) to his name. Thanks to Father Ted, My Hero, and Big Bad World, O’Hanlon is immediately recognisable, but his incredible stand-up talent is perhaps less well known.
