Westport was named Ireland's tidiest large town on Monday at the annual national TidyTowns Awards ceremony which was held in the Helix in Dublin. In total, Westport scored 322 marks, just one behind the overall winner Letterkenny. The under-supply of new builds to meet demand is projected to continue throughout 2015 according to several reports, making now a better time for prospective purchasers to buy residential properties, according to Ms Moran.
