The application process for 5,000 Census Enumerators positions across the country has opened this morning. To date 21,000 people have pre-registered their interest in the positions. The final date for applications is 11 January 2011. However the applications process will close prior to this date if the number of applications reaches 15,000.

Westmeath people encouraged to apply for Census 2011 enumerator positions

The people of Westmeath are being encouraged to Make Their Mark on Census 2011 by applying to be a Census enumerator. Some 5,000 enumerators will be required around the country to ensure that Ireland has a successful Census. And 92 Census enumerators will be needed in County Westmeath.
