In keeping with their 2011 theme, entitled Inspiring Innovation, Network Mayo has confirmed Mary Davis, managing director of the Special Olympics (Europe/Eurasia) as its launch speaker. The launch will take place in Hotel Westport on January 31 at 7.30pm.

Jim Higgins MEP for Ireland North West welcomed some 200 Special Olympians to the European Parliament in Brussels this week where the Special Olympics Torch Run finished. The run passed through nine different countries, starting on September 5 last.
