Sales of the superbly built and finished houses at the excellent development of Forest Mill, Bealnamulla, have seen a resurgence, with five houses sold in the last few weeks. Sherry FitzGerald O’Meara, the selling agents, put this down to the drop in interest rates and reduced house prices making owning one of these properties more attractive than renting. Interest in the development has recently been very strong with evening and weekend viewings.

Now with an unbelievable price drop of up to €300,000, Árd Na Mhuilinn has to be the deal of the decade. The showhouse originally had an original asking price of €850,000, but that has now been reduced to an incredible €550,000 which includes everything in the fit out which cost in the region of €130,000. Other houses in the same development can now be bought for as little as €370,000.
