Future is bright for Lighthouse Networks

Galway-based company Lighthouse Networks has just announced the expansion and enhancement of its wireless broadband service in several rural areas of County Galway and County Clare. These include areas around Barna, Headford and Moycullen which have “line of sight” to Tonabrucky. Other areas which now enjoy enhanced coverage include Kinvara, Gort and Loughrea in County Galway, as well as Lahinch, Miltown Malbay and Spanish Point in County Clare.

Communications Minister Eamon Ryan has been advised by the Fine Gael spokesperson on community, rural, and Gaeltacht affairs, Deputy Michael Ring of the absence of a broadband service in certain areas of Mayo.
