For the second time in three years Snap Printing Athlone has been selected as a finalist at the National Print Awards 2010. The Oscars style event is being held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin on November 26 and will see the very best print companies in Ireland vying for the top awards.

Printmaking courses

The drypoint technique enables students to create an edition of prints from a single metal plate. Plate making and printing processes will be explored. Colour options will also be demonstrated. Beginning students as well as working artists are encouraged to enrol. The class will meet at 11am each day for five hours. Class sizes are limited to six students. Custom House Studios will supply most materials including one plate.
