Corofin have been the most consistent club side at senior level in Galway football for the past 20 years. They have won the Frank Fox Cup on 10 occasions since 1991 and they will be hoping to continue that rich winning vein when they play Salthill, Mountbellew/Moylough or Tuam Stars in the 2011 final. Despite the backlog of games, the final is still pencilled in for October 23.

The county intermediate football semi-final replay between Carna-Caiseal and Oughterard has been fixed for Saturday (5.15pm) at Pearse Stadium.

Following the long drawn out and unsatisfactory saga between Mountbellew and Micheal Breathnachs, the two will renew rivalry on the field of play this Sunday in a replay at Pearse Stadium (4.15pm).

The Galway Ladies Senior B footballers have qualified for the Aisling McGing semi-final and will play Dublin on September 3.

The annual Mountbellew Vintage Rally will be held this year on July 22, 23 and 24. Many new additions will make spectacular viewing for an estimated attendance of over 10,000 people.
