It’s Helium time of year again – not quite the size of the famous music festival Oxegen but helium is slightly lighter and smaller after all.

Record Fairs Ireland are back in the Midlands, and are making a return to Mullingar at Danny Byrnes this Saturday July 17. The fair will feature a massive head-spinning range of vinyl records spanning almost every era and every genre - from the 1950s right up to the present day - from blues to metal, rap to alternative, punk to funk, post-rock to 80s rock and Irish to indie.

A group of representatives from active retired groups from the east and west coasts of Ireland were invited by Bloomfield House Hotel on a familiarisation trip to Mullingar recently.
