Good showing at National Masters Cross Country Championships

Mayo AC started the year with an excellent medal winning performance at the National Masters Cross Country Championships at Gransha Park, Derry, on Sunday last. Not for the first time their masters women’s athletes put the year’s first medals on the table and continued a formidable club record.

Lough Key Forest Park was the setting for another great performance by Mayo AC at Woodie’s DIY AAI Masters Cross Country Championships on Sunday. A mild misty day is usually welcomed by athletes, but many struggled in the tough conditions over hill and hollow.
