With its roots in traditional Irish, their music features a strong percussive-like singing and gorgeous melodies driven by a serious rhythmical undercurrent. Kíla have created their own distinctive style of world music, which has won over audiences around the world through their eight recordings to date and their spectacular live performances. Kíla's latest album Gamblers Ballet has been well received and reached the Top 30 in Ireland. Following on from a summer of brilliant and colourful performances at the Electric Picnic and Cois Fharraige festivals, Kíla will play a number of Irish dates this autumn including The Stables, Mullingar this Saturday.
