The Mayo relatives of kidnapped GOAL worker Sharon Commins from Clontarf in Dublin have received a sliver of hope with reports that Irish officials have contacted her. News reports yesterday (Thursday) said there was a chance that Ms Commins and her Ugandan colleague Hilda Kawuki, who were abducted by armed men last Friday, could be released shortly.
