Clarinbridge county hurling champions

The annual John Joyce Memorial Sevens, will be held at Arus Bóthar na Trá on St Stephen’s Day.

Shane Kavanagh (right), who captained the Galway hurlers to the league title last May and throughout the championship from full-back, is expected to miss part of next season as he recovers from an ankle operation.

Christmas Jumper Day is a celebration of the jumpers that we would normally cast aside and send to a box never to be opened that you would store in your attic.

This Sunday at Tuam Stadium (2pm) Killererin will hope to finally add to their two Connacht titles won in 1976 and 1978.
