Cheevers calls on Galway City Council to improve safety measures
Fianna Fáil councillor Alan Cheevers welcomes the current works being carried out on the Coast Road but believes that the safety improvements at this junction must be part of it.Cheevers said he has spoken to the transport section at Galway City Council in relation to this and has raised concerns especially [with regard to] lighting and signage.“A huge amount of work has been done on active travel in this area but we need to see an upgrade on this junction,” he said.
