RnaG on lookout for Gaeltacht village for TV ad campaign

RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta has started a search to find the perfect Gaeltacht location in which to record their upcoming TV promo in June. It is asking Gaeltacht towns and villages in Galway who think that their area might have what it takes to get in touch with them.

Exciting new Irish summer college ready for enrolments

Coláiste Néifinn is a newly founded Irish summer college in west Mayo for 12 to 15-year-olds. This college aims to bring life to our native language outside the Gaeltacht. The co-ordinators are two Irish teachers from west Mayo who have both been teaching Irish for nearly 10 years. They also have taught in several Gaeltacht colleges, so they can bring a lot of experience to Coláiste Néifinn in Castlebar.
